Sometime, perhaps not too far in the distance, we anticipate a return to normalcy. Even as spring is soon set to arrive, we are constantly reminded of the promise of hope and renewal. We long to joyfully emerge from dark, dreary days of confinement and thereafter commence to slowly, but steadily, rebuild our shattered lives and dreams. The world is reawakening.

Total individual life insurance policy sales increased 11% in the first quarter, compared with first quarter 2020. This is the highest growth in the number of policies sold in a quarter since 1983. The past several weeks have been crazy busy at work and the numbers from the LIMRA survey provide some perspective. So if asked how the pandemic affected my life the past week I'd have to say I'm extremely busy at work and I think the virus has driven demand for life insurance products to its highest point in years.
